TIERRA DEL LAGARTO is a destination for hand picked home furnishings from around the world.  We travel to India, Indonesia, Morocco and Turkey to hand select the treasures you will find in our store.  Shipments from central Mexico, Peru, Argentina, China, and Africa help keep our mix different with each visit.  Bookcases made from antique carved surrounds, buffets with old studded doors, rustic teak benches, and chunky carved coffee tables are just some of the finds that regularly come in on ocean going containers.  Our huge collection of unusual accessories helps make Tierra Del Lagarto earn its reputation as a great treasure hunt;  bone inlay boxes, lacquered candlestands, painted ceiling panels, exotic lanterns, a wonderful assortment of table and floor lamps - we are always packed with new finds.

     Since 1991 our family has been exploring exotic destinations to source the most interesting finds for your home.  Our goal is to always have something new for you to see with each visit.  Direct importing and a quick turnover keep our prices very reasonable.  Customers are encouraged to take furniture and accessories out "on approval" for up to four days to be sure they work well at home.
